An interplay between form and function inspired this ashtray. Extruded aluminum, with its inherent industrial vocabulary, is minimally reformed. A machined V-form creates an unexpected, almost architectural aesthetic. The resulting halves interlock through friction alone – a testament to aluminum’s precision and expressive potential.
