In a Berlin “hinterhof” block apartment building near the Moabit Markthalle and surrounded by parks, a modest ground-floor apartment unfolds. Compact yet charming, this 47m2 space encompasses the living room, kitchen, bathroom, storage, bedroom, and an outdoor terrace.

Exposed brick on one wall, treated white, reveals a play of light and shadow echoed in the Manhattan marble surfaces that adorn window sills and bathroom niches. A stepped marble landscape conceals a diagonal descent to the basement below. Natural oak wood flooring warms the space, while concrete tiles in the bathroom introduce a subtle industrial touch.
