Twenty years ago, a bench was born from the ruins of a house renovation. Solid cherry and mahogany, their hues deepened by decades of rest in a friend’s family garage, a legacy from her father.

Minimal intervention, a light touch of the machine to reveal the wood’s inherent character. Each knot, each grain, a testament to the slow, patient growth of the tree.

It is a simple form, a quiet invitation to sit, reflect, and connect with the enduring nature of materials and the stories they carry. Made from 5 lightly machined wooden slabs.
