An object of elemental simplicity, the DADO X table emerges from the warmth and grain of 100% natural wood. Ingeniously designed, it requires no tools or fasteners – only the interlocking embrace of its architect-patented joinery system. Effortlessly assembled and disassembled, it is a nomadic companion, ready to transform any space.

This German-patented creation, crafted from pure wood, is finished naturally, each piece unique, reflecting the tree from which it came. As an organic material, wood responds to its environment, evolving with changes in climate and the passage of time. A gentle soap and a damp cloth are all that’s needed to maintain its unadorned beauty.

The heart of the DADO X lies in its namesake: the dado, a time-honored woodworking technique reimagined at a 45-degree angle. This innovation, combined with meticulously angled cuts, results in a patented joinery that requires no additional fasteners. Designed by Justin Allen for ALLEN KAUFMANN OBJECTS, this table is a reaction against the unsightly underbellies of conventional furniture, showcasing joinery as both structure and aesthetic.

The DADO X from the DADO Series is available in birch plywood, ash, oak, or walnut, finished in oil, black stained, or lacquered variations, and offers a harmonious blend of form and function for both private and public spaces.
