SCALE Lamp was designed for the Japanese Sushi themed restaurant 893 Ryotei in West Berlin. The form was inspired by 1950s classic desk lamp shade styles and in a particular Italian desk lamp we have in our office. Instead of using smooth and painted formed metal, we printed a scaled textured unpainted form with light escaping through the curved scales.

The design features a unique changing 3D printed form, giving a scale-texture observed insided and out. The Lamp is suitable for both private and public spaces and comes in a wide range of color and finishes
